If you email directly, we hold the contents of that correspondence.
This website does not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies.
We do not ask for or collect any of the special categories of personal data protected under Article 9 of the GDPR, and we do not collect information about criminal convictions or offences. This site is intended for adults and is not directed at children.
The information is used solely to respond to your enquiry and, where relevant, to discuss whether one of the School's programmes or mentoring might suit your situation. The lawful basis is legitimate interests: you have contacted us, and replying is what you would reasonably expect.
Your details are not used for marketing unless you separately ask to hear from us, and they are never sold or shared for anyone else's marketing.
The contact form is delivered by Web3Forms, which processes the submission and passes it to us by email. Their handling of data is governed by their own privacy terms.
Email is hosted on Microsoft 365. Microsoft acts as a processor on our behalf under its data protection terms. No other third party has access to enquiry information.
Web3Forms processes form submissions outside the European Economic Area. Where information is transferred outside the EEA, it is protected by the safeguards those providers have in place, including the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.
Enquiries that do not lead to an engagement are kept for up to two years, in case you get back in touch, and then deleted. Where an engagement follows, records are kept for as long as the relationship continues and for six years afterwards, to meet tax and accounting requirements.
Enquiry information is held in the email account named above. Access is limited to Seonad Cook and anyone engaged to support the practice, who are bound by confidentiality and may only use the information to help respond to you. Accounts are protected by strong passwords and two-factor authentication, and reasonable technical and organisational measures are taken to guard against loss, misuse or unauthorised access. No transmission over the internet can be guaranteed completely secure, so anything sent to us is sent at your own risk.
If a personal data breach were to occur, we have a procedure for dealing with it and would notify the Data Protection Commission, and affected individuals, where the law requires it.
Enquiry information is not sold, and it is not shared for anyone else's marketing. There are circumstances in which it could be disclosed: where the law or a regulator requires it, where it is necessary to use one of the service providers described above, or where the business or its assets were transferred to another party, in which case information may pass to the new owner under the terms of this notice.
Where this site links to another organisation, that organisation's own privacy policy applies once you leave this site. We are not responsible for how other sites handle your information, and it is worth reading their policy before giving them any of your data.
You have the right to ask for a copy of the information held about you, to have it corrected, to have it deleted, to restrict how it is used, and to object to certain uses of your information. To exercise any of these rights, email the address above.
There is no charge. We aim to respond within one month, and will tell you if a request is complex enough to take longer. We may ask you to confirm your identity first, so that information is not released to someone with no right to it.
If something about how your information is handled concerns you, please raise it with us first so we can try to put it right. If you are still not satisfied, you can complain to the Data Protection Commission, Ireland's supervisory authority for data protection (dataprotection.ie).
If this notice changes, the revised version will appear on this page with a new date.
